Photograms and rayographs
What is a photogram/rayograph
A photogram is a process/technique you use to create a type of image without using a camera, after you make your photogram your outcome will look black but the places you have put your objects on will be white. This process only takes a couple of minuets to do but they look really nice. You can create all sorts of things with this process and use any objects. |
How to make a photogram/rayograph?
To make a photogram you have to put objects on light sensitive paper/materials and then put it under light for 10 seconds then where the objects have been the paper will have turned white and all the places where no object has touched will be black. This procedure has to be done in a dark room for the outcome to be good.

Examples of photograms/rayograph
My photograms
I think my photogram came out okay I like it because of the tones also I like the fact that you can only see a few of my objects because I did use a lot more then just these but it looks like they was highlighted to stand out on purpose.

I think my second photogram came out better because its more detailed and on the film strip you can see the images that are printed on them but on my other photogram you couldn't even tell that I had a film strip on there and the objects came out more white and the background looks more black so overall I like my second image better.
